What would be the benefit of going there vs staying where you are?
Both are engineering career development-type programs in the sense that I'll be with an engineering firm or department for a week.
NZ I get to witness the current developments regarding jetpacks and other related innovations whereas in China I get to see the inner workings behind aircrafts (I'd assume it'd be one of the recent models considering)
Just, hmm, not sure if it's worth it yet, for some reason I"m just harbouring doubt :/ 'Cause for my situation $3500 is a lotta money.

@Samael: can you obtain a similar degree in your country for the cost of getting one in a foreign country?
Accounting for the travel expenses, room and board, meals, washing, books + the cost of the tuition that The scholarship doesn't cover
Vs the cost of getting the degree in the country you live in.

Ah, it's not really a degree it's just, I suppose, an extra experience? I'm doing something akin to a triple degree here right now and my grades gave me this opportunity. Just questioning whether I should take it or not.
Oh yeah, the tuition covers all but the air fare. :/ Assuming a fund of $1500, I'd be spending.. roughly $3k still if I'm lucky..

@Samael: if it's experience that will look good on your resume go for it.
But really think about it. How will this improve your future in the career you've chosen.
