Have you studied something you don't now use/do in your career?

Not really... I studied a few things with no intention of linking it with a career but in the end it all related quite well to what I do now

Had to in several jobs. Never knew much about either heavy equipment nor hazardous materials before in my previous jobs. Yet I had to be quite proficient in both as well as in other areas.

Now I don't work in any of those capacities.

What is interesting, I was in my late forties when I started that job.

despite hours and hours of study and class work, i have yet to apply my expert knowledge on how to drop an egg from a five-story building without breaking it
