@Mamapolo2016 Which books have you enjoyed?
@BlackBloodDemon So very many. For fiction, two of my favorites are East of Eden by John Steinbeck and Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry.

If nothing else is available, I'll read the cereal box.

@Mamapolo2016 I haven't read those books, but I really enjoyed Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck! I also really liked To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne, and The Crucible by Arthur Miller (this one and The Scarlet Letter really hit close to home for me because I grew up in a very strict, religious household).
@BlackBloodDemon All excellent. So many books, so little time.

@Mamapolo2016 I took a world literature course for fun last semester and discovered magical realism for the first time. It's a very interesting genre. I had a lot of fun reading Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't heard of the book. It's not something you see in novels very much.
@BlackBloodDemon It's very good.
@BlackBloodDemon Check out The House of the Spirits by Isabella Allende and The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. Both considered magical realism.
