Is this true? I heard that Biden is actually considering a travel ban to and from the state of Florida.

I heard that Florida has increasing numbers of infection from the more contagious and more deadly UK mutation of the virus, and that Joe Biden now wants to use federal powers to restrict travel...so that Florida residents could not leave, and residents from other states could not enter.

I'm wondering if that is really true or is it more hate mongering?

And, if it is true, has the Constitution been changed in some way so that it has become legal for the federal government to impose travel restrictions on the states?

Florida Gov. DeSantis Rips Talk of Domestic Travel Restrictions

@Confined I did see another article that says this would ONLY be done in cooperation with the states...if at all...which makes more sense.

Miami Herald:
afternoon quotes a White House official answering a question about the virus UK mutation: “...we’re having conversations about anything that would help mitigate spread.”

Several paragraphs later, the article quotes two other officials clarifying that “...no policy announcements are imminent, and that any move to restrict travel or impose new health measures would be taken in partnership with state and local governments.”
