Shocking Ignorance in the United States in the Young

Two thirds of ALL our young people have no idea that the Jewish Holocaust ever occurred. So much for "Never Forgotten".

75% of ALL young black males in Los Angeles are unable to read.

Two thirds of the worlds population don't know what the holocaust was or deny it happened according to wikipedia.

@kodiac Some countries don’t have have public libraries and if they do you must pay an annual fee and the book choices may be heavily censored. Many can not afford to buy books either.

@cherokeepatti I agree but it seems it's not only young people that are unaware.I also agree lots of my age group don't have a clue but how much of that is because kids get promoted just to get them onto another teacher the kids that do work and study get the same as those who don't. It shows a lot in sports also kids get a trophy for just showing up

@kodiac I knew it was a problem in the USA but didn't realize the problem was worldwide. WHY do you suppose they are trying to suppress that memory? And Nimbus says that in the UK they are not even teaching their kids about WWII.

@4meAndyou I would guess maybe different religions and like people say it's not really being taught any more? All the focus seems to be on the issues of people destroying oour country and culture ,this might seem crappy to say but now only black lives seem to matter and black history seems to be the focus of schools
