There is so much they are clueless about. They are spending so much time on entertainment & social media that they don’t use their spare time to educate themselves

@cherokeepatti I am trying to imagine my parents NOT making me do my homework...or NOT making sure I could read. I spent most of my childhood sitting inside my closet, reading, because I was irritating my mother and she would shout, "GO READ!!!"

@4meAndyou I read because I loved to read and learn. Loved non- fiction about a variety of subjects

@cherokeepatti Well, I was only in love with comic books up till about age 12...then I went right into reading Eurotrash bodice rippers at age 13...(we went to Europe and my mother appeared not to notice the lurid, bodice ripping photos on the covers when I bought them at the news stands...🤣 But I also loved to read and learn...once I got past Superman and French heroines...🤣
