Shocking Ignorance in the United States in the Young

Two thirds of ALL our young people have no idea that the Jewish Holocaust ever occurred. So much for "Never Forgotten".

75% of ALL young black males in Los Angeles are unable to read.

There is so much they are clueless about. They are spending so much time on entertainment & social media that they don’t use their spare time to educate themselves

@cherokeepatti I am trying to imagine my parents NOT making me do my homework...or NOT making sure I could read. I spent most of my childhood sitting inside my closet, reading, because I was irritating my mother and she would shout, "GO READ!!!"

@cherokeepatti Well, I was only in [i]love[/i] with comic books up till about age 12...then I went right into reading Eurotrash bodice rippers at age 13...(we went to Europe and my mother appeared not to notice the lurid, bodice ripping photos on the covers when I bought them at the news stands...🤣 But I also loved to read and learn...once I got past Superman and French heroines...🤣
