Hmm. Intelligent could be a controversial term. If we go by IQ as a measure and the average is 100, sorry to day but it does suggest people are pretty stupid, on average. Just my opinion.

There's no evidence to suggest "generally intelligent" in fact if you look at the evidence you'll see generally unintelligent at best, can't follow simple instructions yet buy new cars.
