Why do poeple make so much fun of computer scientists...

and IT specialists when the whole society is using and is dependent on the products they've (or other MINT graduates) developed?

That's why! They understand so much we 'need' but don't understand. That bugs us bigtime.

@Mamapolo2016 Thanks for reply, but what they don't understand?
@LillyJulia How it all works. Why it works. Why it doesn't work when it doesn't. Why when we think we killed our technology, turning it off and back on might resurrect it. Why it doesn't always revive it. What actually crashed. anyway?

@Mamapolo2016 Ehm, I'm pretty sure they/we do... I studied geoinformatics so you can ask me some questions if you want (but I don't know the deep computer staff)...
For how and why a computer works, it's explained in the first semesters in every computer science major or you can look for some youtube videos that explain that, like these here:

The reasons why a reboot works can be easily googled, for example some are named here: https://www.transparent.ca/uncategorized/when-and-why-should-you-restart-your-computer/
@LillyJulia Your question was not how I feel about IT folks. It was "why do people make so much fun of computer scientists?" and that was the question I answered.

I took those courses. I did a lot of reading. I know some of the surface stuff. I like IT folks because I sure can't fix it.

@Mamapolo2016 Okay, I apologize; got confused cause you used "we" and "us" for which I assumed you include yourself.
