What’s the hardest thing you had to do in college?

@SW-User they make anyone nervous! I literally don't know the material.... I don't really listen in class because the professor sucks and I don't do homework either which is a real smart idea, only because he doesn't check it so what's the point

@SW-User yeah lol

Realize that it was a waste of both my time and money.
EnigmaticGeek · 61-69, M
@ShaythePanTransMan Thanks! I wasn't all that smart, then, but after nearly 4 decades of self-education, I think I'm reasonably well educated, now.

Every university must have a bad calc professor. I had one who was from Poland. He could barely speak English, and what little English he could speak was mostly unintelligible due to his thick Polish accent.
ShaythePanTransMan · 22-25, T
@EnigmaticGeek Wow. You certainly are!
For sure.... Ooh, is that worse than my professor.... My professor made 80% of the class just give up entirely.
EnigmaticGeek · 61-69, M
@ShaythePanTransMan Well, calculus was the other reason I dropped out. Tried to pass it three times at two different universities with three different professors. Never could wrap my mind completely around it.

I did learn that one can use calculus to determine the optimum ratio of the diameter of a soup can relative to its length in order to minimize the amount of sheet metal needed to make the can, but there are easier ways to do that than calculus.

I had seven academic courses one semester, most of them engineering courses. That was hard, but I had to do it in order to graduate in four years.
ShaythePanTransMan · 22-25, T
@exexec that’s insane.... wow :(

Using the coin laundry in the dorms. It was always in use or had someone's clothes in it. Well, that and the dorm showers.
ShaythePanTransMan · 22-25, T
@kawasaki XD good thing they have so many washers and dryers that you always have one open.

Swallow my pride and accept that I wasn't cut out for my first choice. I switched majors halfway through.
ShaythePanTransMan · 22-25, T
@SW-User that’s really hard....
This guy I know named Colton is a sophomore transfer student and he was forced to change his major. He’s really allergic to a chemical they use in chemistry labs so they told him he can’t major in Chemistry, meanwhile he came in with a bunch of credits for that major.

Writing classes sucked for me
ShaythePanTransMan · 22-25, T
