What is the percentage? For all my math enthusiasts. . .

My boyfriend and I are pretty young, and make 2500 a month collectively. 800 goes towards bills, and 300 towards food. What percentage of our income goes towards bills (food included)? And how did you get your answer? I am terrible at mouth, please inform me, don't judge me.

@MarmeeMarch We rent a one bedroom apartment. Our rent is 570, and our lightbill is normally around 200 dollars. Our apartment complex doesn't require us to pay a water bill. It actually isn't that bad to be honest.
