Do US college students really need to graduate?

Or do they still get jobs as qualified if they quit college a few exams before graduation?

Honestly? Yes. Most companies don't care what your degree is in, but they do care if you have a degree. A lot of places won't even consider you for certain jobs if you don't have a degree.

A college degree does not guarantee a job. BUT!!! If they have invested all this time and money and only have a few exams???? I would question their intelligence in quitting.

@FlowersInHerHair I rather mean that only a few exams were missing.

Depends on the industry and the level of job you hope for. Not graduating will count against you a LOT when the HR department is weighing you, nowhere near as much if it's your potential boss interviewing you.

Depends what job you want as some require it to even learn it in the first place eg. most health fields.

I never heard of one getting a job because they were in college. Not all students need to go to get a job.
