How do you react when someone tells you you're "indoctrinated"?

And why do they think saying "you're indoctrinated" and "wake up" are meaningful statements? They could be used in any context. It's another way of saying "I'm right, you're wrong, and if you don't see the world the way I do, you must be blind."

I seldom say such nasty things to people, and if people say such nasty things to me here on SW, I block them.

I think there IS a risk of both sides of our political divide becoming "indoctrinated". (I assume this person was discussing politics with you). If you bathe in the media or cultural stream of one side, and one side only, of this political divide, you might become somewhat brainwashed.

You can only tell if that is true if you begin repeating talking points without using your own words and your own thoughts.

IMO, I believe that both sides of this political divide should try very hard to look at the BIG picture. In other words, look at the actual physical results of this policy or that policy in large places, such as other countries, or large cities.
