I enrolled my son at a tutoring facility when he was in the second grade, a place called the Learning Game. Now they have online games that help kids learn better. I learned how to type that way.
But I think the best thing you can do for yourself is ask for extra help after school. It's free. If something is stumping you, ask your teacher if he or she can explain so you can understand. I did that when I was in 5th grade because I just couldn't comprehend ratios and how to do them.
And most of all, read!!! Read everything you can that interests you. They don't have to be serious books. Just read.

@4meAndyou 100% agree. Everyone has different pace of learning different things. And everyone has different unique abilities and qualities. People need to be supportive to bring best out of children.
