At what age is it common for children to know their own phone number and address?

When I was 4 years old my parents taught me to know my full name, address, my phone number and my parents names.

So...at what age should children learn this information? And...what age is common nowadays for children to know this?

I had a friend whose two daughters did not know this information (except for parent names) at ages 8 and 9. He laughed it off saying his girls were unable to learn it.

From my point of view, it's a matter of safety. As soon as a child can learn basic information they should be encouraged to remember it.

I think it’s very important to know. I would say 4.
