@xLily The 360 thing is just the number of degrees we have semi-arbitrarily declared they have. It was picked because it's evenly divisible into several common fractions, such as halves, thirds, quarters, fifths, and tenths. It has no special significance of it's own.

@OggggO R. Buckminster Fuller says that a circle is a polygon with a very high number of sides, that only looks round because the sides are too small to see.

@Lila15 well maybe on paper, but our definition of a circle is mostly in our heads where it is perfectly round, even if it is impossible for that to be in real life
