Did you do PE in your bare feet at school?

@lucyrob I did all PE inside in my bare feet from about the age of 9 through to the end of my school life.

Was that by choice?

@lucyrob I think so, I'd done apparatus in bare feet before but everything else in plimsolls. My best friend started to do other PE in bare feet, and got me to try it. I loved it and continued doing PE that way.

@Adec757 always I would say not to be bare feet, there is more protection for the feet this was. I understand of course many types of dance will require this of course to be bare feet, it is not so much a problem for me but this is my prefer

@AnaKoroleva as far as school was concerned it was always about the quality of the floor! The gymnastics club had a bar better floor 😀

@AnaKoroleva when the floor got chilly for indoor p.e. were you allowed plimsolls or still bare feet?

@Adec757 It seems like common sense as you talk about it, I'm not sure how I'd have reacted to see one of my teachers in bare feet. It possibly would have been quite funny😀

I wouldn't have been able to say that about any of my teachers, I think. I had one middle school teacher who taught us wearing a football kit, how sporty he was outside of school I don't know.

@SW-User When I was at school, fortunately we didn't have to go a great distance to the hall or gym. The floor was more likely to be cold and dirty too as plimsolls and trainers were allowed too😒. Have you always done PE in your bare feet?

@GkB01 Yes, we have to do it in bare feet. There is sometimes mud in the changing rooms from people's hockey boots, so our feet pick up the dirt 😠

@SW-User Cold and dirty feet before the start of a lesson, too bad. We could choose at our school and most of the class went barefoot. I only remember a couple of girls at middle school who preferred plimsolls, and not really anyone at Comprehensive school.

@Adec757 If that question was meant for me, the answer would be no. Just look to exercise my feet a little more.

@GkB01 I exercise my toes in the bath incase someone ever tries to drown me so I can pull the plug out. Panic would be my only enemy in that scenario. Anyway I mostly take showers because I'm less likely to slip over wet than the most likely dry attacker... I think, might get two of the kids to test that theory 😂 - jokes 😂

@Yorkiedaddy For me it was yes or white lace up plimsolls. I didn't like having to keep them white, lol.
