Anyone who honestly believes that "abstinence-only" sex education is a good idea has no objective sense of reality.

Look, I hate sex. I honestly believe it's one of the most pathetic things about humans. But my views are extreme, and very rare. And I'm not nearly enough of an ideological purist to think that teaching pubescent teenagers "don't have sex ever because it's bad and makes you a bad person but if you do have sex then never use condoms or birth control or morning-after pills because they're wrong" is a good idea. That completely defeats the entire purpose of sex education. It's called SEX EDUCATION because you're supposed to EDUCATE your students about SEX, duhhhhhhhhhhhhh 🙄

Sex is a natural part of life,so it's good that they teach kids as much as they can about it, especially being responsible, and using protection.
