This is because they see education as a rung o the ladder towards the post of Home Secretary. Sad.

You may be right. Now I think back, Genghis Khan committed the odd atrocity or two. It is far too soon to draw a line under the history of Mongolia.

Thank goodness our country has never done anything so underhand as to collaborate with another nation to discredit the leader of a foreign country through deliberate lies so his own people overthrow him, only to be replaced the puppet leader of our choice to ensure our supplies of a vital natural resource. And that was post Second World War.
I may not be a paid up member of the Angela Merkel fan club and I think I shall not become one, what with the similarity between herself and Adolf Hitler being so blindingly obvious.

Basically, I agree with you about the appalling waste of public money that has gone on under governments of both colours. The system is all wrong. In different ways the public has been short-changed as have the children.

Well said.
Votes from ignorant people.
Stupid dumb people believe what rupert murdoch tells them. Education in the 1940s was crap compared to today and wouldn't equip people for a modern world. Poor information literacy. Few problem solving skills.
