@TheConstantGardener I am translating it and I don´t know what to do , maybe "understood" would replace "interpreted" keeping the same intention of the provision ?

@Underconstruction That sounds reasonable to me and makes better reading. It sounds like these words are meant to give direction to the reader on a particular effect of something. So understood would be correct in that passage. Unless there is a legal difference between those two words but in common english they are synonymous.
