I have read that The US is becoming increasingly polarised. I cannot imagine anyone writing what you have about their 4th largest city facing an unprecedented natural disaster. Are you joking or something? Maybe I am missing something through not being an American.

@sogdianrock Ever heard of Sheila Jackson Lee. ? Yes what I said was true ... the mayor of Houston tried to force pastors to submit their sermons for the mayor's approval . Doesn't get more lib than that

Get the facts right. There never was an attempt to force pastors to submit sermons for approval. There was a subpoena issued to several pastors that were involved in a lawsuit involving recall petitions for the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance (HERO) to provide "all speeches, presentations, or sermons related to HERO" as part of the lawsuit discovery process. That is hardly a requirement for all pastors in Houston to submit sermons in advance for approval. Try getting your facts right for a change.
