I'm always on the lookout for a good laugh which usually means a poorly-made drama.
Have you ever seen Bride of the Gorilla starring Raymond "Perry Mason" Burr and Lon Chaney Jr?
🤣

@rinkydinkydoink I have not. However, several of the movies chosen were from the 1950s and starred Lon Chaney, Bela Lugosi, or both of them.

@rinkydinkydoink Wasn't that in 3D originally, with lots of obviously 3D styled shots of things coming at the camera?

@bijouxbroussard Lon Chaney JR and/or Bela? Both at the ends of their careers, Lugosi ravaged by drugs and Chaney by alcoholism. :( The Lugosi films would have been Ed Wood-directed?

@ChipmunkErnie Yes, those are the ones. I was surprised at how many there were.

Apparently not - like the Vincent Price "House of Wax"? LOL
Actually, these old Lugosi, Cheney Jr and Ed Wood movies are entertaining and none - zero, nada - are meant to be taken seriously. Give me one of these any day over something pretentious like Liz and Dick in "Cleopatra". I bet you feel the same :D

@rinkydinkydoink I loved Vincent Price and enjoyed "House of Wax".

@bijouxbroussard House of Wax is great....especially In 3d!
It's a remake of Mystery of the Wax Museum with Lionel Atwill and Fay Wray.

@JSul3 I enjoyed HOUSE OF WAX but found MYSTERY OF THE WAX MUSEUM to be even better -- particularly since that experimental 2-strip Technicolor gives it such an eerie look.

@ChipmunkErnie MOTWM is the better 'chiller' and I love Glenda Ferrell as the tough female reporter.

@JSul3 Kind of like her role as Torchie Blane.
