it's interesting to see how people victimize themselves
im watching footage of a momfluencer who falsely accused a couple of attempted kidnapping. it's really weird how she's trying to villainize these people who, im thinking, she chose specifically because of how they looked? like in a weird political way. my guess is she knew she wanted a story for insta, and they happened to fit a narrative in her head. just based on her weird descriptions of them. when she initially reported it to the police she said, "she has dyed red hair... he was wearing a black lives matter hoodie... really unclean looking people... i dont want to press charges for them trying to kidnap my kids, just bring awareness."
then, later, she posted the story to instagram or whatever and it brought her from like 3k subs to 80k. but the details she posted didnt match up with the initial police report, so they came to question her about it again. she changes her details around because the investigators point out that her story doesn't align with her insta story, and even more alarming, it doesn't match up with the security footage they pulled. like the key points of her story didn't match at all, like she had been talking about how they were stalking her into and around the store, then followed her out.. but they actually arrived several minutes before her and just happened to have the misfortune of standing behind her in line.
still, she insisted that the blm man was whispering to his phone/girlfriend "the boy looks easier to kidnap because she's not making him wear a mask. she must not care about him as much." and idk?? like ive seen people fake kidnapping stories before. usually their own kidnapping. but this one is just particularly odd because of the political undertones and the tie-in with social media 🤷♀ weird
fortunately the people she falsely accused were cleared but my heart goes out to them regardless
