(tv show speculating that Lee Harvey Oswald was training with anti-Castro Cuban exiles [b]after[/b] the Bay of Pigs debacle).

If Oswald was a Communist, why would he have been working with anti-Castro forces ?

I don't have answers, only lingering questions. Whatever his background, Oswald was clearly silenced. That's pretty clear evidence he wasn't "acting alone." Beyond that I have only questions.

Yeah, that sounds like a bad theory. Tell you what, though, there was definitely more going on than we'll ever know about with that whole bullshit. Why else would Jack Ruby have been able to kill Oswald without any difficulty while Oswald was in custody?

@LordShadowfire I’m not generally one for conspiracy theories, but the ones with organized crime being responsible for both JFK’s election [b]and[/b] his assassination have acquired teeth over the years for a few reasons:

Joe Kennedy’s past association with mobsters

The problems JFK and RFK subsequently made for organized crime during the Kennedy administration.

The ease with which Jack Ruby (also connected with organized crime) was able to bring in a gun and shoot Oswald while he was surrounded by police.

@bijouxbroussard Yeah, exactly. When the conspiracy is something simple like he was pissing off organized crime bosses, I'm inclined to explore further.
