No, sadly I have given into modern technology and use my phone.
RedBaron · M
@calicuz Why is that sad? I think it's practical and smart. You're not doing any harm.

@RedBaron

I know, but at my age I should be "Fighting the power!!!"
RedBaron · M
@calicuz What power? I think I am older than you and I use my phone, although I work at home and rarely need to set an alarm.
calicuz · 56-60, M
@RedBaron

No power, I was trying to be funny again.
revenant · F
@calicuz I hate those annoying scam calls
calicuz · 56-60, M
@revenant

Yes, those and robocalls are the worst.
RedBaron · M
@calicuz But we used to get telemarketing calls on landlines as well. Remember?
calicuz · 56-60, M
@RedBaron

Yes, but not as bad as the robocalls.
revenant · F
@RedBaron Nobody was bothering you when you were out of the house
RedBaron · M
@revenant Just goes with the territory of new technology. By the same token, family and friends couldn’t reach you in an emergency either.
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
@calicuz My work uses robocalls for shifts between 8 pm and 8 am. That way no alarm setting is needed.
revenant · F
@RedBaron I cannot conduct my life around " emergencies".
RedBaron · M
@revenant Has anyone asked you to? 🤔
