I'm watching this documentary about epstein and maxwell

And some of these victims have made me wonder really...
I know that they were young. So that's why they were able to get roped in so quickly.
But where were their parents?
Especially the ones as young as 14.

Please by no means do I think they deserved this... I really don't.
But I don't understand how you let your child go to some random woman's home , when you don't know her from Adam!

They say predators know their victims but there was clearly something she was able to spot in these victims.

I do hope in years to come Maxwell does talk and do a tell all story.
Because this is just insane...

No not notes for others but to fully understand her mindset.

Yes calling people trash and peasants might be an indication of her thinking they were beneath her...
But there's definitely something else there!

As I understand it, the girls were all told that they were going to earn scholarships and become top models. And a rebellious teenage girl who is, herself, convinced that she is on the path to happiness is very hard for a parent to control. IF the parents even cared enough to stir themselves.
It is amazing the level of trust people have towards those with "celebrity" status......

@Threepio personally I think they're looking for something.
As some of them said the fact she was articulate and looked so expensive they trusted her.

That's why I guess I'm always suspicious of people with a pretty face. The world is always kinder to these types...
It takes strong will and discipline to not use it for bad!

It illustrates how some folks really shouldn’t be parents. I had a friend in high school who basically raised herself. She was born when her mother (who had been kicked out of her parents’ home) was 15. My friend’s mother was determined to get a love life back and would put her out when she had a new boyfriend. She occasionally spent the nights with me, or various other classmates. She would’ve been very vulnerable to folks like Maxwell and Epstein.

@bijouxbroussard so scary. I wonder how that young woman has grown up to be...
