Do i have the right to defend myself against my mum if shes being violent and hitting me i defended myself against my mum when she was drunk and violent before i just pushed her and another time i tried to phone the police and she took my phone and smashed it she even attacked me so i put my hand on her throat i feel ashamed of my actions this was year's ago we are both in much better places now

@Bify123 You probably have a good reason, to stick with your mum, in spite of that. But hey, you need to think deeply about your situation, and the vibes it is giving you. Accordingly, think about why you think things like this happen, and align your thoughts, and actions with that higher purpose. Sometimes thinking that God is in control helps. And get some friends, who will vouch for you mentally, verbally, and perhaps even physically?

@Bify123 the title in question is being asked in present tense. Your best move is to move out on your own. No more police calling, phone smashing, and throat grabbing. If you must live under her roof, do your best to avoid conflicts and walk away when you can.
