I Have a Temper

I am pretty easy going. It takes a lot to make me mad but once my buttons are pushed, watch out.

Do you have phrases you use that tells the other person you mean business? I do.

If someone is getting close to crossing a line with me, I let them know I don't agree, respectfully.

If the person continues to push my buttons, I will start out with "Here's the deal" meaning I am getting upset.

If the person still continues to cross the line, they get a bullet pointed message outlining exactly why I am mad.

After that, there is no second chance. If I am really angry, there will be silence. That is the calm before the storm and all h**l breaks loose.

It is not pretty and I don't like to get that mad. My family knew when to push and when to stop. If I get so upset to use the Fu** word, the house empties.

You can't take anger or nasty words back so I try to watch what I let loose.

Humans are funny creatures, funny strange not funny haha. We have emotions and expressions animals don't have. Animals don't feel guilt for example, or remorse and I am not sure what forms of love they actually feel. Anyway, I have always been easy going and it takes an eternity to make me made (maybe longer). But as the number of birthdays increase the more I realize trivial things aren't important. Time is too short and I have things still I want to do. Words still need to be written. Anger is too time consuming.

sometimes anger is a necessity. It clears the soul.

Anger is human as much as any other emotion. We all have that inside. Anger can clear the soul or imprison it. I have seen people so angry they shake from adrenaline they shake, or knock holes in the wall. Sometimes shoot an unarmed person in the back. I get angry more at things, like governments, people who do tech support but can't speak English. Waiting three hours for an appointment I set a month ago and no if I wanted fries with that I would have ordered them. Those could make me postal.

I battle mostly from within myself,
With demons I can’t see.
The fight is between the man I am,
And the one I want to be.

we are all in that battle.

Those are the first 4 lines of a poem. posted here and set for the book. Internal struggles are part of life. Some we win, some we lose and some just keep going. No one knows what is seething underneath someone else, and most are too busy with their own battles to care.

Very true. I think that is an Enigma we all face.
