and the fact you can't say what you want anymore? we have effectively been gagged, you're simply not allowed to say certain things anymore, you can't tell someone exactly what you think of them now.

Yes one can, one just can not use hate speech, derogatory words, or words that insight or cause violence. It's simple, choose your words wisely, learn to use the English language properly, and there will be no misinterpretation of one's words.
