Then real important issues such as our failing schools, it makes me think the bible, kuran, tora, whatever is more of a political tool of how to govern ones self for a better society, over this political science that weakens our understanding of sustainable governing....

So what is wrong with same sex marriage?
Which would you rather have:
Unhappy gay man married to regular heterosexual woman but they don’t have sex because they are not attracted to each other. Both seek sexual satisfaction outside of their marriage aka cheating

Or gay person meets another gay person - they get married and live happily and have surrogate children who grow up happily
Heterosexual woman meets a guy and they get married etc etc.

Accept people for who they are.
