@SW-User Well, regardless, history would disagree that communism and socialism don't work. But I think this has more to do with religious people?

@BlueMetalChick Well everyone in the media keeps saying that Christians should feel bad for the crusades but yet when all these atrocities were committed nothing was said by anybody. That's the point I was trying to make.

@SW-User Hitler was a Christian. So was Isaac Newton. Mendel Beilis was a Jew. So was Albert Einstein. Stalin was an atheist. So is Stephen Hawking. The differences between these people are that some are assholes and some are not.

@BlueMetalChick Hitler was in no way a Christian in any way shape or form. He hated anyone who didn't worship him.

@SW-User Right, so Hitler repeatedly identifying as a Catholic in his own writings doesn't count then, I guess. The Nazi uniforms even featured belt buckles that said "God is with us" in German.

He might have been a Catholic. but anything he said or did was in no way in the Catholic faith whatsoever.
