Huge pet peeve

If Im going somewhere and I tell you that you can come along if youd like, do not ask "Do you want me to come?" .....Tf was the point of me saying "You can come if you want to"??? If i didnt want you to come i wouldn't have said anything at all. But im not going to force you to come if you dont want to, ehich is why i said "if you want to" That does not mean make me choose between you going and not going 🙄🙄🙄🙄Im not saying shit anymore. You cant be this indecisive of a person for something as simple as tagging along with someone to go shopping.

After I learned about this "let's go out for a cup of coffee sometime" which in some cultures allegedly doesn't mean that they want to have coffee with you, it doesn't really surprise me if someone wants another assurance.

@Elessar British people say it's some meaningless small talk or polite talk or something like that. I mean..wtf? Never heard about it before but seems like autistic or "autistic" people complain about it as something they take literally. Um..? How else am I supposed to take it?

Here nobody would invite you to go out unless they really mean it. Possibly because the one who invites usually pays. 😆
