pointless thanks / apologies. like when somebody nearly walks into you but realised and missed you by a mile but still feels the need to say sorry. i just feel like there's no need to apologise to me in that moment. or it's being thanked for something so trivial that i barely warrants a second thought. i dunno if anyone else feels like this but usually when one of these moments happen i genuinely get confused sorry for what? thanks for what?
