I called a locksmith today to fix my ignition and one of them wants $90 and the other wants $250.
I just wonder if it's because the second one is an artiste! 👨🎨

When we needed an electrician to add a 40a plug for our EV in our garage, several places did free onsite estimates. One guy said he charges $200 for the estimate if he has to come to our house, but if we take pictures of everything he needs to see he can do the estimate for free. We never called him back.
A business is free to ask whatever they want, it doesn't always work, but they can probably do the job quicker because they are not bogged down and they charge more.
