Sometimes just resting your head on a pillow, not stressing how you aren't sleeping, even if you don't sleep, offers almost as much sleep can.

@SW-User I have a pretty active mind at night but usually it isn鈥檛 this bad. I鈥檓 just excited about a package that鈥檚 coming in tomorrow and I鈥檓 basically a kid that can鈥檛 wait to get my hands on it so it takes me longer to sleep. I鈥檒l find someway to tire myself out. I鈥檒l probably listen to a podcast or something since that also helps me.

@itisntanything And you have a young mind and body, you'll get through a night of no sleep. I was emphasising, don't stress upon it :)

Insomnia can be pretty annoying. I think the medicines you mention are herbal based; I find valerian based products quite useful when I get very desperate but I rarely take them as I think the effect can reduce if you take them too often. I hope they help you.
