I Am Annoyed
At my sister who lives with me. The kid has no sense of self preservation. If I'm at work all day, she stays on the couch talking to people on facebook. She doesn't do anything productive (like, say, look for a job). She can enjoy her summer. I'm fine with that. But she also doesn't eat unless food is put in front of her. She doesn't keep hydrated throughout the day. She doesn't take care of basic needs while she's by herself.
The bitterest part of me recalls that I've always taken care of myself because no one else was going to, and that it's unfair of her (and very much like our dad) to expect someone else (me) to care for her. She can't force me to take care of her. I can't force her to take care of herself. She'd better figure things out because I'm [i]really[/i] not going to dictate to her everything she needs to take care of every day and when to eat and hydrate. I'm not going to stand over her shoulder and make sure she's trying to do something with her life. She needs to do that on her own. Apparently she's been having health problems all month. She just doesn't take care of herself at all. It's ridiculous. I'm leaving her to find a doctor but I doubt she'll even try.
