I’m kind of annoyed my mom keeps trying to guilt trip me from moving out.

In my culture it’s normal to stay with your family well into adulthood but I know in the USA it’s expected to leave ASAP. I’m turning 26 this year and I’m moving away from home completely soon and my mom is not coping well. She keeps sobbing about not seeing me as often and worrying about me walking to work. I get it but I just want her to be happy for me, not trying to make me feel bad.

My problem is just the opposite my boys won't leave.
If you give into the guilt you'll always feel guilty. But I would visit frequently at first. Your mom needs some friends here age or something to do with others outside the house.
