A smidge short in the really upper upper range - but then, that's my jam as i hate those frequencies being too strong. (Gets scratchy to my ears)

I did a fairly deep comparison of Bluetooth speakers… Bose, Sonos, Sony, JBL, B&O… and FOR THE PRICE and what I wanted to spend, the Doss has a pretty close sound quality offering..
I’m a musician and major audiophile so sound system quality is paramount to me.

@Kiesel i can kinda tell by your choice - totally specific.. and its in the similar sound profile i like.

Its nice to know others out there get me.

I mentioned it at work and one coworker said " oh they are all pretty much the same"...😂 (I did so well biting my cheeks and saying nothing)
Another said "get a jbl flip - they are the best out there" ...i dont mind jbl, they make some really good stuff, and are great bang for buck.

But i just can't explain to them that most speakers just sound 'muddy' to me. Or out of balance - too much bass or too tinny.
And i dont want something that when i turn it up, the whole sound profile changes.

Besides, if i want a woofy bass, i can just shove it in a corner 😂

I think im narrowing it down.
Eventually ill have to go in a hope i can sample a few.

@Kiesel im having trouble finding that model, (i was pretty taken by it ).
Its either waaaay overpriced or no longer stocked.
Ive found a place thats selling the Doxx soundbox ultra - is that similar in sound.

(Sorry to raid your knowlwdge on an issue that you prolly hoped you were all done and dusted with - its ok if you cant recall).
