I Hate Being Judged By People That Dont Even Know Me
i cant begin to describe how many times i had to prove i dont cut because of how i look. its honestly sad how many times i had to show people my wrists.

You don't have to prove anything to anybody. If anyone is rude enough to ask you about something like that, don't get defensive. And don't show them your arms so they can inspect you. It's demeaning. Ignore them or change the subject. Or, if you feel you must respond with something, say, "No. Are you a heroin addict?" And glance at their arms.

i dont get that defensive. showing my arms are my way of trying to end the conversation as quickly as possible (mostly cuz sometimes they say this to make fun of me, so trying to change the subject will make them think i am cutting). also, that comeback is amazing, i have to use it sometime lol
