I Need Somewhere To Vent, Without Fear Of Judgement

I am in so much pain it is almost unbearable and no one can help me until Medicare approves or disapproves the MRI my Orthopedic Surgeon ordered!! I can't take anything for the pain until after I have had the MRI either!!

Update: I will be having an MRI on Tuesday! Thank you for all your prayers and kind wishes.

Update: I have had the MRI, X-rays of knees and hips and a lot of bloodwork. Still no answers.

Next will be some nerve tests (EMD) and a visit to a rheumatologist.

Update: The nerve conductive study was done yesterday. I am waiting to hear the results as soon as the report has been written.

Update: I got the results back from the test on Monday. It was great news. My nerves and muscles are all working properly.

Update: I was able to get an earlier appointment to see the rheumatologist on the 4th of March! That is good news.

I don’t understand why you can’t take anything for pain even without the MRI. Can’t he try to treat what he suspects just to give you some relief?

@SageWanderer It seems no matter how much pain we are in now...doctors treat us like crack heads when we ask for relief...they created the whole OXY crisis and now legit people are paying for it

@Fernie I have found that out in the last few weeks as there have been people I know unable to get relief. It’s a shame what medicine as a whole is doing to patients.
