I honestly am not sure which I find more surprising now…

when people demonstrate that they’re totally heartless, or when they appear to be proud of the fact.

@astrosandorbits I was looking at another site, (where I’m not a member). An OP had posted about famous people who had passed away this year. Someone said, "I don’t know these people personally, so I couldn’t care less that they’re gone." The post had meant something to the OP, and to everyone else who replied.

I wondered why this one fellow felt the need to share that he didn’t care, rather than just scrolling on.
