I really wish I knew why

People suck so bad..

In the last two days, I've gone to a 1 year old beaten to death by Mom's boyfriend and a 4 year old strangled by her Mother...

WTF??

Are you a police officer? There has always been wicked people in this world, but recently the evil seems to be pervasive. It’s everywhere. People committing the most horrendous acts against others. It does not bode well for this world.

@Carissimi I currently run our Special Operations group including the Tactical Medics, we respond to every critical incident in our jurisdiction including pretty much every homicide.

@Carissimi I spent almost 20 years in the Military before this. Compartmentalization is one of my specialties. I work out..alot.

I work out too, but it wouldn’t help my sanity being traumatized with this stuff. I guess some minds find their own way to deal with it. Tom Ballard from “Operation Underground Railway” shared how he deals with finding trafficked children in circumstances that most of us could not handle. You have found your ways to do it.
