I remember, long ago, searching for something or other online and stumbling upon the original incarnation of the Experience Project.
Back then, every group was of the form "I want to.....". The idea was to set a goal and then work to attain that goal.
So for example, you might join a group "I want to go sky-diving" and read other people's experiences, ask questions, have discussions, and eventually be emboldened to go out and do it. Hence the name of the site: set goals to gain experiences.
Eventually the format changed, and of course the site eventually died and people transitioned to this one.
But I think I just figured something out.
Back then, someone must have created a group, "I want to throw a walrus at my grandma!"
