@Thevy29 Oh my I'm retired but if you were a Zen master at work I was a Chaos Disciple. I couldn't do my job without loosing my cool. QA/QC is between a rock and hard place and there were times I had gather upper management and program managers together and jump on their a$$ to prevent them from shipping out of spec product to our customers. It was my personal reputation as well as theirs and the company. And I wasn't a rubber stamp. Only the president could over ride me. But I had documented the discrepancies. If he did it was one him. It happened twice in my career in two different companies. I did not bite my tongue why they worked to resolve it with the customer. I sat back and said the infamous I told you so. I did not let them get me involved to mediate the resolution with the customer either.
I was never let go anywhere for doing my job. Many customers I worked with during customer product inspection performance and specification testing who had great respect for me. Because many companies have the same contract customers my reputation followed me. No matter who I was working for up until my last employer I was a known entity to the customers quality assurance department.
So yeah I could become very angry to make the point and not get fired. Some of these morons wouldn't react until it came to verbal blows.
I'm so damn glad to be retired and have all that behind me. Why I may sound prideful that's only in part because of the stress I went through.

@Thevy29 my family are great fortunately, it's strangers i have a hard time dealing with, because like i said i take offence easily.
