DON'T YOU JUST HATE SOMEONE THAT TALKS SO MUCH IT FEELS LIKE YOUR EARS ARE FALLING OFF?

I've never met anyone who liked a nonstop talker.
What amazes me most is that the talkers themselves seem to have absolutely no idea how much they turn others off.

I certainly don't mind listening when someone has a deep or difficult issue.

But once I've had one experience of a type who prattles gossip or trivia, I'll go out of my way to avoid them.

Yes, an aide for my grandmother is like that. She talks about nothing. Like I do not care about every single moment of your life, go HOME!

The sad is that eventually many simply avoid such people. Often they can end up with no one to talk at.

Sometimes. But then i remember when I do that and then i just let them talk and try to understand.

Or at the wrong moment when you just have no energy for that or need/want to focus on something else.

Depends on the topic.

Also how smart and passionate they are towards the said topic.

I just draw my sound-stifling ear curtains and let 'em talk.

I hate to talk with them only if I can’t get a word in edgewise.

I get rageful.
