Anti-male Discrimination.

I see Primark are bringing back women only changing rooms in their stores. It appears men will still have to use the unisex ones where random women will still be able to walk in on them as they're changing. Obviously they think equality only works one way and, as second class citizens, men don't deserve respect or dignity.

most males are not intimidated by a woman walking into the changing room
thus little to no harm

this is not true for women for whom a man walking in is a serious yellow alert.

not sure this is realy about equality so much as safe space

@Dshhh Really? That's just stereotyping. In any case, what's wrong with having single sex changing rooms for both sexes? Aren't men entitled to safe spaces too? I know a male domestic abuse survivor who is very nervous in confined spaces with women. For him (and I suspect others like him) a woman walking in would be a serious red alert.

@Sharon i do think men deserve that. many are not comfortable with thier bodies
but my experiences and those of women i know suggest they are in some measure less secure in a mixed changing space

@Dshhh You appear to be saying it's OK to ignore men's feelings treat men because women's feelings are more important. Why should my husband (or any man) have to worry about some random woman walking in of him while he's changing?
Dshhh · M
@Sharon that is not what I am saying
I am saying tha many ( not all) men would be fine with co ed changing
i am saying many more women than men would be uncomfortable in the same situation

i have been to lace where both options were avaialble
a resonable compromise.
WHy not make a Poll aks more folks

That's what Primark should do - three rooms: men only; women only; unisex. Instead they seem to be going just for women only and unisex. No "safe space" for men.

@Sharon what is Primark

@Dshhh It's a department store.

As @Sharon pointed out, for some men that would be a serious red alert. By referring to men as "males" but then saying "women" rather than "females", you're revealing your bias.

@Sharon Called Penney's over here; over the border actually.
