I hate how every single criminal is blamed on the left regardless of the reality.

They try saying that our justice system is a direct result of ultra left leaning polices when it couldn't be further from the truth, this gives people the impression that the conservative outlook on the prison system is a paradise. Using murder victims to attack any ideas of prison reform is just sick to me, even while knowing the reason we have so many criminals is mostly self created through years of bad polices (this isn't an excuse for people's actions though.)

Aside from that, Attorney General William Barr who is a [b]republican[/b] first ordered the Federal Bureau of Prisons to identify “at-risk inmates who are non-violent and pose minimal likelihood of recidivism and who might be safer serving their sentences in home confinement.”

Also you make it sound like it's some conspiracy when in fact there is the deadly thing known as covid by which were infecting the staff and inmates.

While it's been a mix of republican and democrat politicians, the main reason for releasing them was high infection rates. Most states chose not to participate so you're not entirely correct or incorrect.
