This is an excellent video that talks about Vitamin A. Vitamin A is an essential nutrient and it plays some important roles in your health. Vitamin A deficiency is rare and most diets meet your need. Vitamin A toxicity, however, is dangerous. Most diets do not result in toxic levels, however the “treatment” RFK, Jr was recommending during the Texas measles outbreak of 2025 of “cod liver oil, liver, chicken soup, and Vitamin A supplements” resulted in multiple children being admitted to the hospital due to acute vitamin A toxicity—this is a DANGEROUS RECOMMENDATION AND IT IS NOT AN EFFECTIVE TREATMENT FOR MEASLES!
The best protection is for susceptible individuals to receive the MMR vaccine which is effective, safe, readily available, and cheap. Unvaccinated individuals risk complications from measles which can be serious, lifelong and even fatal. What’s more, the unvaccinated can serve as sources to infect the vulnerable such as pregnant women and those medically unable to get the vaccine.
Watching this video is a great way to learn more about Vitamin A. However, it is NOT a substitute for discussing your vaccine needs or those of your children with a qualified medical professional such as your family’s pediatrician.
Forget what we’ve all heard RFK, Jr say over and over—the Truth is: vaccines save lives! We have DECADES OF SOLID EVIDENCE!

@MoveAlong Except: it’s really NOT!
While the entire anti-vaccine/anti-evidence philosophical epidemic that’s so prevalent (and dangerously so) cannot be laid at the feet of RFK, Jr (AKA “Brainworm”) and tRUMP (AKA Demented Donnie) everybody knows that they’ve whole heartedly jumped on that train and exacerbated a deadly, false narrative that has already left dead bodies in it’s path.
And, if not reversed, it WILL get worse!

Good on Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro for calling it what it is!
Also, good on him for addressing the religious groups issues in a gentle and accepting manner.
We need to keep pounding RFK, Jr with the message Governor Shapiro made: there are real life consequences to the misinformation Kennedy and his ilk are spreading!
