During alpha and Delta, (which was far worse than Omicron, which we have now), children under 18 had a 1 in 2 million chance of death. Now the risk is much lower. Taking the vaccine (according to the study) a child has a 1 in a thousand chance of having a serious cardiac event (and the long term effects of such is not yet known).
You decide the benefit to risk ratio for your child. And yourself, of course.
