has anyone else had the covid vaccine

i have been vaccinated 3 times but are not getting my 4th booster covid shot because of all the claims about the covid vaccines killing people and having long term side effects...has me quite freaked to be honest.

has anyone else here had the vaccines or is worried about it?

Yes, I have been vaccinated four times so far, and will continue to get vaccinated to improve my odds significantly should I come down with covid. Both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are safe and effective, and my entire family is vaccinated and boosted. Most of us have a science background, and I have five doctors in my extended family. I understand that disinformation can seem quite compelling, but unfortunately it is just that--disinformation intended to mislead and confuse. There remains no evidence of widespread problems with the vaccines.

Yes, I've had the vaccine and my whole extended family has had the vaccine; none of us have had any problems with it. The vaccines aren't perfect - there are rare problems that crop up. But the dangers of facing Covid unvaccinated completely dwarf the dangers of the vaccines.

In 2021, the 75% of Americans fully vaccinated produced under 20% of the Covid deaths, while the 25% unvaccinated Americans produced over 80% of the Covid deaths.

In 2021, the 75% of Americans fully vaccinated produced under 31% of Covid cases; while the 25% unvaccinated Americans produced nearly 70% of Covid cases.

This means the US unvaccinated had a 5X higher chance of contracting Covid compared to the vaccinated per capita, and that overall the unvaccinated had about a 15X higher probability of Covid death per capita.

Note: since 'Long Covid' occurs in 15% to 25% of Covid cases, that means there is also a 5X higher prevalence of Long Covid per capita among the unvaccinated.

Yes I've had three and no problems. There are conspiracy-theory posts going around that I've looked into and now disregard. One of the things they do is find ANYone in the world who is young and had a heart attack and publish it. That's just anecdotal nonsense, there have always been heart attacks on apparently healthy young people. If you google back several years ago at real statistics you can see that heart disease was also on the increase among younger people for the last 20 years - causes potentially less exercise or diet, not sure. But not Covid vaccines.

Yes, I've had all my "jabs" as the QAnon types like to say, up and including the bivalent vax for the omicron ba.4 and ba.5 strains

If anyone should've been worried about getting the "jabz" it's me since I've have Guillain-Barré syndrome 20 years ago, and at that time was advised that for me as a specific individual (not for everyone in general), it would be risky for me to get a flu vax in the future (and you will notice that GBS is mentioned in the questionnaire form you have to fill out, at least in the US, before you get the "jab")

But I decided Moderna would be the best option for me (and Johnson and Johnson would be my last choice), and nothing bad has happened, I don't even stick to metal because of illicit magnets in the vaccines 😞
