It might not be the CPAP causing it, as it could be happening when the air is not getting through well enough, or with jaw clinching while sleeping.
Some doctors might suggest trying a sleep mouth piece.
PS: I'm not saying what it is, as I have absolutely no idea, but simply that it might not be the CPAP, then again, maybe it is 🤷♂

Huh. I use a BIPAP and since pretty bad TMJ but I never linked the two together

Ask your dentist for a night guard. I use both and it helps.
